Cease-Fire Timber FR
This 3-stage water based fire retardant coating system has been specifically formulated to perform to the AS 3959 code. Yes - It is AUSTRALIAN MADE!
AS 3959 bushfire code compliant!
The Timber FR system is suitable for both exterior - weather exposed and interior applications. It offers bushfire - fire protection on almost all combustiable surfaces where normal architectual water based paints will successfully adhere.
What is the system and how much do I need?
Part 1 - Primer - one coat required (coverage rate is 10 sqr mtrs per ltr)
Part 2 - Fire retardant - an average of 3 coats required - wet film build is to a total of 700 microns net coverage rate at this net thickness is 1.4 sqr mtrs per ltr.
Part 3 - Premium quality exterior top coat - 2 coats required - for both coats allow 5 SQR mtrs per ltr. Top coats are available in both gloss and low sheen and all bases are offered. Tintable to the dulux exterior colours and colour bond colours.

Do I have to use all three parts of the system?
If you wish to meet with the requirements of the AS 3959 code the answer is YES as this is the specific combination of products that were tested too this standard.
So how much does it cost per square metre?
Subject to application method and the surface that is being protected the approximate cost of the the total system is $26.00 + - per square metre. Plus application costs

PREMIUM BUSHFIRE PROTECTION OF
WINDOWS AND DOORS

This innovative "Australian Made" Radiant Shield product offers premium protection against bushfire attack for at risk exterior windows and doors. It complies with the AS 3959 bushfire construction code.
The units are available in all colour bond colours and is offered in both Manual,
240 volt and12 volt deployment.
Cease-Fire Fabric Fire Retardant
Fabric FR is a premium quality fabric fire retardant that aims to prevent ignition and to retard the spread of flame. Whilst treated fabrics may char in contact with fire, they are unlikely to ignite or generate spread of flame.
The likes of curtains and soft furnishings located close by to glass windows and doors can be at high ignition risk during bushfire conditions. Servere levels of radiant heat from a Bushfire / Wild fire can - may pass through glass and cause these soft furnishing to ignite with devistating result inside the home.
Fabric FR can significantly assist in the fire retarding of soft furnishings against bushfire / wild fire attack.

Orbit FR Fire Resistant construction board for use in construction located in designated BUSH FIRE RISK locations. AS3959 Compliant!
With high impact resistance, it is suitable for external walls, eves linings, internal wall linings suspended ceilings and more.
